Soul’s Harbor was founded on the belief that no one in Joplin should face their darkest hour alone. What started as a small outreach has grown into a cornerstone of community support, operating entirely on the local generosity of neighbors like you.

We believe that meeting a person’s physical needs—a hot meal and a safe bed—is the first step toward restoring their dignity. By providing a “hand up” rather than just a “handout,” we empower our guests to navigate life’s transitions with faith and support.
